Known to clients and colleagues as “Richo”, Lewis Richardson has spent more than a decade building his career in equipment and commercial finance with QPF. He joined QPF at 20 through the business’s early graduate pathway, progressing through operations and broker support before becoming a full-time finance broker in November 2017.

That experience has given Lewis a strong understanding of the finance process from end to end — from structuring a deal and presenting it to lenders through to settlement. He works with sole traders, family-owned businesses and established SMEs across industries including agriculture, construction, transport, civil, earthmoving, manufacturing and trades. His experience spans equipment and vehicle finance, working capital and a range of commercial lending solutions.

Lewis is particularly proud of the long-term relationships he has built with his clients, helping businesses progress from financing their first vehicle or piece of equipment to funding larger fleets, new contracts and broader commercial facilities. His approach is simple: understand the client, understand the opportunity and find a practical finance solution to support their next stage of growth.

Lewis holds a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, the Commercial Lending and Finance Professional (CLFP) qualification and a Bachelor of Business from QUT.

Outside of finance, Richo is QPF’s resident sports guru. He plays touch football, follows the Queensland Reds avidly and is rarely short of an opinion — or a historical fact — when it comes to sport.

Lewis even personalised our loan structure to best serve our needs based on his knowledge of our business use (and we didn't even have to ask).
