With more than 40 years of experience in banking and finance, Andrew leads QPF’s Property & Commercial Finance division with deep industry knowledge and strategic insight. He began his career with ANZ in 1980, spending a decade in plant and equipment finance before moving to Citibank in 1990 to specialise in residential and commercial mortgages.
Over his 23-year tenure at Citibank, Andrew played a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s mortgage business, ultimately stepping into the role of QLD State Manager. His leadership and expertise laid the groundwork for the successful launch of QPF’s Property Finance division, where he continues to drive growth and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients across the country.
Known around the office as “Sterlo,” Andrew combines technical skill with an easygoing nature—earning trust from clients, lenders, and colleagues alike. His recent recognition as one of MPA’s Top 30 Commercial Brokers of 2023 (ranked 19th) reflects both his strong performance and longstanding commitment to the industry.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time on the water, boating and fishing whenever he gets the chance.
