Matt Crain joined the family business in 2006, transitioning from a career as a qualified radiographer into the world of finance. What began as a career shift quickly became a calling, as Matt built a loyal client base through his natural ability to connect with people and structure tailored finance solutions—particularly within the transport and construction sectors.
Since then, Matt has played a central role in QPF’s national growth and cultural evolution. As Managing Partner, he leads broker recruitment and development across the Group, working closely with the Group Sales Manager to ensure brokers are supported with the tools, mentoring, and strategy they need to succeed.
Matt also oversees QPF’s Insurance division, guiding its expansion from a small team into a multi-broker business unit with consistent year-on-year growth.
Strategic, thoughtful, and highly knowledgeable, Matt is considered the go-to for all things finance and insurance across the Group. He’s known for his approachable leadership style, forward-thinking mindset, and unwavering commitment to both clients and staff.
As part of the second generation now leading the QPF Group, Matt remains focused on sustainable growth and preserving the company’s family values. He believes that, while it might not seem like it today, difficult times can provide the seeds of opportunity for change and improvement – an outlook that continues to shape his leadership and QPF’s direction.
